If The World Hates You.....

John 15:18-27



¹⁸"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
¹⁹If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
²⁰Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.'^b]"> If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
²¹They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me.
²²If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.
²³He who hates me hates my Father as well.
²⁴If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.
²⁵But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: 'They hated me without reason.'^c]">

²⁶"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.

²⁷And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.

Feel like your Life is Falling apart?

I sit and watch and learn a lot of things.One thing I have come to learn is that no matter what happens in your life,or maybe I should say our lives, is that God is in control and has a reason for everything that happens.When we feel as if we are in a hurricane do we blame God?Sometimes that is what it takes for him to get our undivided attention.My Mom use to have to tell me all the time....and sometimes she still does..you are not doing what God would have you do.I use to tell her that she was wrong.She wasn't.I was 42 years old when I finally got myself right with the Lord.Boy did I miss out on a lot of wonderful things because of my refusal to say I was wrong.Here is what I learned today...

* Everything we have is in God's hands.
* God and evil do not hang out.(Dark can't stand the light.)
* Be willing to listen to God And expect to hear from him.
* Life is not about us it is about God.
* God has the battle it is not ours to fight
* There is nothing you can hide from God.( So why do we try at all?)

I know this,I want my heart to chase after God. I want to be the best servant possible.I want to teach the same to my children,some are going through some very hard times that I pray will put them back close to him and not wait until they are in their forties

Any way that is a small part of what I have learned today there was a lot more.Pray for my Family as some are hurting.Pray that it draws them closer to God instead of pushing them the opposite way.
